2007: The Longfellow Bicentennial
The 200th anniversary of the birth of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow will be observed in 2007. The Maine Historical Society and the Longfellow National Historic Site, as well as a number of other organizations and scholars have been meeting in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to plan a variety of events for the celebration. These meetings will continue, and as details are completed, event information will be posted in this space.
